Matt Damon was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 8, 1970. Damon started acting while he was still in high school, and attended Harvard University, to pursue English Literature. But, only twelve credits shy of receiving his degree, he quitted his studies to pursue acting and even moved to LA to stay with his best friend Ben Affleck, and the brother Casey Affleck.
